TREKKING ALONG THE BORDER

The High Route of the Breggia Basin
Trekking along the border with guides and special guests

The Muggio Valley Ethnographic Museum (MEVM) invites you to participate in a challenging but fascinating hike along the border between the peaks of Bisbino and Sasso Gordona with magnificent views of the lake region and insights between culture and nature.

The route covered represents a synthesis of the contents of the Museum in the Territory that MEVM has been promoting and curating for more than forty years.

Route
Lattecaldo - Sagno - Bisbino - Sasso Gordona - Bonello - Muggio
The route covers about 20 km through mountain trails and with an elevation gain of about 1200 m uphill and almost as much downhill. Adequate physical condition is required.

Equipment
Mountain footwear, possibly trekking poles, sun/rain protection, packed lunch and plenty of water supply.

Compulsory registration at eventi@mevm.ch or at the Museum (+41 091 690 20 38 ) by May 24.
Reservation date in case of bad weather: Saturday, June 3.

Cost CHF 45 (CHF 35 for MEVM members).
Postbus transfer Muggio-Ponte Sagno is included.
