Don’t miss the BancaStato Walking Mendrisiotto event, which will take place at the Mercato Coperto Event Center in Mendrisio. It promises to be a great day of outdoor activity, camaraderie, and fun, featuring three wonderful walking and Nordic walking routes of varying distances and difficulty levels that wind through vineyards, countryside, and villages.
Location
The event village, start and finish lines, and lunch area will be located at the Mercato Coperto Event Center in Mendrisio
Routes
Family (4.2 km - new route!): an easy trail with an elevation gain of about 50 meters, accessible to everyone (including those in wheelchairs and with strollers)
Besazio (8.7 km): a moderately difficult trail that passes through villages, forests, and terraced vineyards.
Meride (14.4 km): a moderately difficult route with 450 meters of ascent and descent that passes through 7 neighborhoods of Mendrisio and extends to the foothills of Monte San Giorgio (a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site)
Walk&Dog Category
For four-legged friends and their owners, there is the “Walk&Dog” category (valid on all routes), which includes, in addition to the standard race packet: a race bib with the owner’s and dog’s names, and a souvenir bowl for the dog.
Fitness Afternoon
Following the success of last year’s event, we’re once again offering the fitness afternoon organized by RB Training. From 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., interested participants will have the opportunity to take part in sessions of the following classes (maximum of 3 choices; duration of each class: 30 min): Boot Camp / Pilates Matwork / Pilates Reformer / Posture Classes / Group Pancafit / Spinning / Kids Gym
Race Kit
The registration fee includes: a technical fabric T-shirt, a meal voucher for the food court at the Centro Manifestazioni Mercato Coperto in Mendrisio, a personalized race bib with your name, an Arcobaleno day pass (2nd class, all zones, valid on the day of the event; code sent via email), timing, refreshments, and medical services along the course and at the finish line.
