The route runs through Val Mara between Rovio and Arogno, with a 500-meter elevation gain over a total distance of 9.3 km.
It is quite challenging, featuring several ups and downs, mostly on forest trails (not suitable for strollers).
The start and finish are located at Ala Maternain Rovio.
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to admire the valley from different perspectives; we’ll cross the Lembro and Mara rivers, enter the historic village of Arogno, and conclude our walk in the picturesque chestnut groveat Ala Materna in Rovio.
To cap off the day, we’ve planned a small celebration for everyone, including those who didn’t participate in the walk.
