The route is located in the Mara Valley between Rovio and Arogno with 500 meters of elevation gain for a total length of 9.3 km.
It is quite challenging, consisting of several ups and downs mostly on wooded paths(not suitable for strollers).
The start and finish are located at Ala Materna in Rovio.
Along the way there will be a chance to admire the valley from different perspectives, we will cross the Lembro and Mara rivers, enter the historic village of Arogno and end our walk in the picturesque chestnut forest atAla Materna in Rovio.
To end on a high note we have planned a small party for everyone, even those who did not participate in the walk.
