Cement Trail - in the Breggia Gorge Park

Have you ever experienced total darkness and absolute silence?
In the Breggia Gorge Park you will be able to experience this through The Cement Trail, which will take you into the bowels of the earth to visit limestone mining tunnels!

Of the total five kilometers, one has in fact been made safe and walkable. Armed with a helmet and headlamps, your guide will take you on a unique journey through the history of man and nature in Switzerland. You will travel the same route that 1.5 million cubic meters of majolica and flake, the main ingredients for cement production, took from the quarries and tunnels to the crusher and finally to the kiln tower.
