Cement Trail - in the Breggia Gorge Park

Have you ever experienced total darkness and absolute silence?
In the Breggia Gorges Park , you can have this experience through The Cement Trail, which will take you deep into the earth to explore the limestone mining tunnels!

Of the five kilometers in total, one has been made safe and accessible. Equipped with a helmet and headlamps, your guide will accompany you on a journey unique in Switzerland—a journey through the history of humankind and nature. You’ll follow the same path that one and a half million cubic meters of majolica and limestone chips—the main ingredients for cement production—took from the quarries and tunnels to the crusher and finally to the kiln tower.

Price: adults CHF 20.-, reduced CHF 15., teens (ages 6–16) CHF 5.00, children (ages 3–6) free
