Fall Festival and 18th Cantonal Honey Festival in Chiasso: a grand celebration of tradition

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, downtown Chiasso will be transformed into a lively open-air stage to host the Fall Festival, one of the season’s most beloved events in the Mendrisiotto region.

With over 100 stalls set up along Corso San Gottardo and Piazza Indipendenza, the event will showcase local artisans and producers offering the finest local food and wine. A rich entertainment program awaits you, featuring live music, themed readings, and educational workshops for adults and children. Don’t miss the traditional flavors: you can enjoy delicious roasted chestnuts or stop for a group lunch featuring polenta and stew (for just CHF 5 per serving).

The 2026 edition will also feature a spectacular car exhibition (featuring new, used, and classic cars) and will host the 18th Cantonal Honey Festival. Organized by the Ticino Beekeepers’ Federation, the festival will feature numerous local beekeepers, offering a unique opportunity to taste and purchase premium honeys and other bee products from the Canton of Ticino.
