To enjoy a typical dish from the Muggio Valley, we recommend attending the Native Dish Review held in the valley every year at the turn of November and December.
The gastronomic compositions offered by the various haunts (restaurants, taverns, grotti, trattorias and agritourisms) are based on traditional recipes and ingredients: in addition to cazöla, roast suckling pig, donkey stew, pork shank, veal ossobuco, stewed rooster and rabbit, polenta and"rustisciada" you can also enjoy game and more.
Always present are the renowned formaggini and the Zincarlin produced in the Muggio Valley.
By filling out a postcard, all participants in the festival can participate in a contest that offers a travel voucher as a prize; in addition, coupled with each get-together, there is a chance to win a prize with local products from the Muggio Valley.
